2025 Named Scholarship in Your Class’s Name

Each graduating class has the opportunity to collectively raise funds to award a scholarship in the name of their class. If a class achieves the $500 goal*, a 2025 Johnston High School senior will receive a scholarship in honor of the graduating class.  For every additional $500 raised, an additional $500 scholarship will be awarded.

* If the collective amount raised is not an exact increment of $500, the balance will be split evenly among the scholarship awards so each senior may receive between $500 and $999.  If the class does not reach the $500 minimum, all donations will go to the general scholarship fund, ensuring that all donations support a 2025 JHS graduating senior.  The scholarship committee evaluates and awards scholarships on March 15th each year. To be considered for the 2025 Named Class Scholarship, contributions must be received by March 1, 2025.

Ultimate Legacy Opportunity
If your class raises more than $25,000 by March 1, 2025, we’ll create a permanent endowment that grants a $500 scholarship every year in your class’s name.

Other Options
If you would like to establish a named scholarship ($500 or more) or an individual endowment ($25,000 or more), not associated with a graduating class, you are welcome to do so as well.
