About Us

The goal of the Dragon Scholarship Fund is to give EVERY JHS senior financial assistance as they continue their education beyond high school. We raise money in the community through personal and business donations, and at several events held throughout the year. Dragon Scholarship Fund differs from other scholarships in that we strive to help every graduating senior who completes the six-step application process. We believe everyone deserves a chance to earn a scholarship, regardless of class rank, financial need, gender, race, creed, or ability.

COVID  had a significant impact on our fundraising efforts over the past several years.  However, we were still able to award over $108,000 in scholarship money to 259 graduates from the class of 2022.  Since our inception in 1987, Dragon Scholarship Fund has helped more than 5,250 students and awarded almost $2,100,000 in scholarships.
